Green - Less is More challenge week 62

Back to the clean and simple now. I have been doing lots of complicated stuff recently and I wanted my next project to be simple. This is a house warming card for a friend who has recently downsized.
The challenge:
This week we have another Colour challenge for you and to give it a slightly different twist we would like to see

Three Shades of Green.

For this you could use one ink but use it in different ways to create different shades, for example direct stamping, then secondary stamping, dusting, stencilling, maybe inking directly from the inkpad. This would create different shades of the same colour or you could simply use three different greens.
There is such a variety of mediums you could use too... paper, pencils, chalks, inks, paint, markers, etc., etc. It's not a one layer week, so let your imagination roam...but remember that WHITE SPACE!

I have used a white card blank and stamped directly the 'Sweet Tweets' sentiment in Memento 'Pear Tart' and then embossed with Blonde Moments 'Suet Gold Lustre'. The bird houses and bird are stamped in Cottage Ivy, Bamboo Leaves and Pear Tart. They have been embossed with WOW 'Glamour Green' embossing glitter and suet gold luster. I cut the shape with an Xcut die then inked the edges with a mixture of the bamboo leaves and pear tart. The stamps are by Hot Off the Press. Oh, and there are 3 gems in the birds tail coz I can't do without bling!

  1. Delightful!

    Happy Easter

  2. This is a really sweet card. those greens are lovely!
We would be glad if you could link just the post that your card is in to our challenge, rather than your entire blog.
